Not Sure If You’re Struggling? You’re In the Right Place.
Many of our clients come to us saying things like:
“I feel out of control with food.”
“It’s not that bad, but I know it’s not normal.”
“I don’t want to gain weight, but I feel trapped by my own rules.”
“I just want to be healthy but I’m not sure what that even means anymore.”
Whether you're dealing with guilt after eating, skipping meals to "make up" for the night before, obsessing over clean eating, or purging for the first time these are all signs something deeper might be going on.
Why Eating Disorders Are Dangerous - Even When They Don’t Look Like It
Eating disorders impact every part of your life; emotionally, physically, socially. Even if your labs are “normal” or your weight hasn’t changed much, the damage may still be happening inside your body and mind.
Some of the risks include:
Hormonal disruption and menstrual irregularities
Fatigue, brain fog, and sleep disturbances
Gastrointestinal issues and nutrient deficiencies
Bone loss and heart complications
Isolation, secrecy, and shame
Eating disorders have the second-highest mortality rate of all mental health conditions. But early support makes a difference. You don’t have to hit “rock bottom” to get help.
Eating Disorders We Support and Treat
We work with individuals across the full spectrum of disordered eating whether you're newly struggling, in recovery, or unsure where you fit. Here's a look at some of the most common eating disorders we treat:
Anorexia Nervosa
Marked by restriction, weight loss, and an intense fear of gaining weight. This often includes obsessive thoughts about food, body checking, and ritualistic behaviors.
Bulimia Nervosa
Cycles of binge eating followed by purging, which might include vomiting, over-exercise, or laxative use. This pattern is often secretive and driven by feelings of shame or lack of control.
Binge Eating Disorder
Episodes of eating large amounts of food in a short time, often in secret, followed by distress or guilt. Unlike bulimia, there’s no compensatory behavior afterward.
OSFED (Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder)
When someone has significant disordered eating patterns that don’t fit the criteria of a specific diagnosis — but are still harmful and deserving of support.
ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)
Extreme restriction or avoidance of food due to sensory sensitivities, fear of choking, or past trauma — not related to body image.
Orthorexia
An obsession with “clean” or “healthy” eating that leads to fear, rigidity, and social isolation. Not currently a formal diagnosis, but deeply impactful.
Compulsive or Compensatory Exercise
Using exercise to "earn" or "make up for" food, often with guilt or anxiety when rest is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions About Eating Disorders
-
No way! In fact, most of our clients probably wouldn’t be considered “underweight.” Eating disorders don’t have a “look”, they show up in all body types. What really matters is how your relationship with food, your body, or movement is affecting your life. If it’s taking up too much mental space or stealing your joy, that’s reason enough to get support.
-
If you’ve been googling things like “do I have an eating disorder?”, “I just ate too much, what should I do?” or “why do I feel out of control with food?” That’s your sign. “I just ate too much, what should I do?”
Maybe you’re skipping meals, overthinking everything you eat, or secretly struggling with binges or purging. Even if it doesn’t feel bad enough, if it’s making life harder, it’s worth talking to someone.
-
Disordered eating is a gray area; skipping meals, constantly dieting, obsessing over ingredients, feeling guilt after eating, or "starting over" every Monday. It may not meet full diagnostic criteria, but it can still be incredibly disruptive and harmful.
An eating disorder is when those patterns become more persistent, extreme, or medically dangerous but both deserve support. You don’t need a label to get help.
-
Absolutely. You don’t need a diagnosis to work with us, and honestly, many people never get one. If you’re feeling trapped in food rules, constantly thinking about what you “should” or “shouldn’t” eat, or just exhausted by it all… let’s talk. You don’t have to figure it out alone. description

Please know that you’re not broken, and you’re not alone. That “oh no” feeling after purging or realizing you've been secretly avoiding food is very real and a powerful moment to reach out.
The earlier you get support, the easier it can be to change the pattern. We’re here for you before it becomes something bigger.

We hear this a lot and it makes so much sense. In a world that constantly praises weight loss and fuels body shame, of course it feels scary.
Recovery isn’t about forcing weight gain, it’s about finding freedom, peace, and re-establishing health that actually feels good. Does that mean that you won’t need to gain weight to recover, not necessarily, but we can work with you to figure that out together. Our team helps you explore those fears with compassion, not pressure. -
That’s a beautiful goal but the word “healthy” can get tangled up in diet culture and misinformation. If your pursuit of health is starting to feel obsessive, isolating, or exhausting… let’s redefine what true health looks like. (Hint: It includes flexibility, satisfaction, mental peace, and nourishment.)
