Pediatric Dietitian in Crestwood, MO
Meet Faith Wright, RD
Faith is a registered dietitian in Crestwood, MO with experience in both inpatient medical stabilization and outpatient nutrition counseling for patients with eating disorders. While Faith is passionate about helping anyone navigate the challenges they face related to their eating disorder, she specializes in working with pediatric and adolescent populations. Prior to joining the team at BNT, she worked in a pediatric hospital providing nutritional guidance, support, and education to children and teens with eating disorders and their caregivers.
Faith works with families throughout the St. Louis area, offering specialized support for eating disorders in kids and adolescents, including ARFID, anorexia, bulimia, and other restrictive patterns.
Whether your child is newly diagnosed or you’ve been searching for the right pediatric eating disorder dietitian near St. Louis, Faith offers evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each stage of healing.
Other than pediatrics, her focus areas have included ARFID, sports nutrition, and vegetarian diets. She also has experience working with clients with coinciding conditions such as diabetes and GI disorders, and clients from various backgrounds and cultural identities, and those belonging to the LGBTQIA+ community. The thing Faith finds most rewarding about her work is the opportunity it allows for her to form connections with her clients and assist them with developing the tools they need to truly heal their relationship with food through positive encouragement and evidence based interventions.
Faith is a lover of animals, and a proud pet parent to 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 6 chickens! In her free time she likes spending time outdoors hiking, camping, or kayaking Missouri’s waterways. She also enjoys working on home projects, exploring new cities with her husband (and trying all the food of course!), or just relaxing at home with a good book or movie.
Faith sees clients in person at our Crestwood, MO office and virtually across the greater St. Louis area.
Helping Children and Teens with Eating Disorders in the St. Louis Area
Faith takes a client centered approach to her practice and aims to gain a better understanding of each client as a whole, taking into consideration their personal values, past experiences, and how this has shaped their current perspective around food and their body. She recognizes that everyone’s situation is different and requires a unique plan customized to meet their personal needs.
Faith puts a heavy emphasis on providing a judgement free atmosphere and meeting clients wherever they are in their journey. She prefers to take a flexible and collaborative approach when helping clients improve their relationship with food. With that being said, she’s also not afraid to have the tough conversations when needed to help clients identify and address the barriers that may be hindering their recovery.

You’re Not Alone - Common Feelings and Fears
If your child has recently been diagnosed with an eating disorder, you may be feeling scared, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to begin. You’re not alone—and these emotions are not only common, they’re completely valid.
Many parents blame themselves or feel lost trying to make sense of what’s happening. Eating disorders can be difficult to understand, especially in a culture filled with mixed messages about food, weight, and health. You might even notice your own beliefs about food being challenged in this process—and that’s okay.
Recovery isn’t just about meals and weight; it’s about healing relationships with food, body, and self—for the whole family.
At Balanced Nutrition Therapy, we support parents just as much as we support kids. We’re here to walk with you, answer your questions, and help you understand what’s going on beneath the surface—so you can show up for your child with clarity and compassion.
